Detours

Route 9 in Hillsboro is open to limited two-way travel—refer to the schedule for open and closed times.

When the work zone is closed, all motorists will be required to follow posted detour signs.

All detour routes remain in place and motorists are encouraged to continue to use them to avoid delays. Through-truck restrictions remain in effect.

The work zone on Route 9 within the Town of Hillsboro will open for limited two-way travel—depending on day and time.

The ReThink9 work zone open to two-way traffic:
Saturdays and Sundays: 24 hours
Mondays–Thursdays: 12 a.m. to 9 a.m. and, 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. the following day
Fridays: 12 a.m. to 9 a.m., and 2 p.m. until the following Monday at 9 a.m.
 
The ReThink9 work zone is closed to all traffic:
Mondays–Thursdays: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fridays: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Take Regional and Local Detours

Regional motorists are encouraged to continue to use the Regional Detour using Route 340 and Route 7.

Greater Hillsboro area motorists should follow the Hillsboro Local Detour of Hillsboro Road, Allder School Road, Woodgrove Road, Stony Point Road to connect with Route 9.

25 mph Speed Limits strictly enforced on Stony Point Road and Woodgrove Road.

Cider Mill Road restricted to LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY/No Right Turn from Route 9/No Left Turn from Woodgrove Road.
